The Hard Five

Spent most of the day calling and talking to known people about content and inbound marketing work. Meetings take up so much time before and after the actual meeting than the actual meeting.

I prefer reading about things than talking about things, so maybe Amazon got the right idea when they asked people to send notes to read before the actual meetings. That works with co-workers not with consultants and external colleagues though.

Spend fine tuning the work done yesterday because I was not happy with the scope of the plan.

Did some financial planning to get to understand runway, money invested etc. It is never too early to talk money, but I am running on medium costs in my personal life and am looking to go to minimal spending in both my personal life and in the business. The mortgage, the car payment and the holiday budgets (that’s it, I promise) are the only major spends, the rest of them are manageable.

I also worked on a little bit of the actual work too. This is gonna take a lot of time and I’m in for the long haul.
