21 - A New Day (Another One)

Three days of R&R and start again

Drove back home from Bengaluru where I was staying for a the last 20 odd days and now back in Hyderabad. Didn’t write the journal but worked one of those three days. Started afresh today and got back into the routine.

Discipline beats passion, let’s see how that goes as I take the AM project on. I wish I could foresee what will happen in 500 days of this but I realized in past ventures that you have to take this one day at a time.

Had a chance to read the news about DeepSeek and it seems that everyone has got their undies in a twist. My meagre exposure to US stocks and my exposure to the Indian stock market hurts me but I will be alright. My best investment is in the work that I have done and will continue to do, even if it sounds like schlock.

Worked on building the spec for a base variant of the tool. I am not trying to gimp it down but at the same time I want to build a good-to-use tool for a smaller segment of the market I am trying to win. Understanding which feature might make sense and which might be overkill for the smaller segment is not easy to decide.

I just want to help smaller businesses write better, keep people informed, operate better and keep track of whats happening. I do not want them to be bogged down by procedures and perfection but to just get them started.

Also scrounged for developers who can build this. This is far tougher but I do not want to rush this since this is a make or break thing for me. I have a good dev on standby but I haven’t really checked the wider market to compare and contrast. That’s my mission for tomorrow as well.

Let’s see how that goes.
