16 - Another day in paradise

I have quite a bit of time on clarifying user roles, document roles, tag usage and visibility permissions for the product.

My challenge was in understanding the difference between what a designer can bring to the table versus what a product manager (myself) can bring. I assumed that the user stories were comprehensive enough for the designer to build the user flows. The designers did a great job and today was just one instance where they had to ask me clarifying questions.

I am thankful they asked.

Another part of the day was spent reviewing content and SEO plan. I think I found a good marketer who could do that. She did a good job putting together a mind map of the content.

Both content writers so far have delivered and I think will continue to deliver for the foreseeable future.

Have a firm date on go-live of the new website. Will not make any announcements since I feel there will be teething trouble, misplaced content, orphaned links and so on but I will have to sit on that tomorrow.
