Day of phone calls, contract reviews and finding people
Bootstrapping as you think of it is on the spectrum of doing it solo and hiring hundreds of people, the common thread is that it is your own money that you are spending. The common perception is of a solo founder (or maybe two) putting in days and nights on building a business, which is not very far from reality.
I hired two very good writers to write what my customers would benefit from. Some of it is written to maybe help me become findable for people who are facing the challenge I am solving for.
Also spent best part of the day figuring out taxes and finding someone to figure out taxes for me. The complication is doing taxes in India and the USA (in the future) for the which the subset of people who understand both is a challenge. Part of the challenge is finding reliable, trustworthy and fully qualified people. Accounting and taxes are domains where a combination of these three are hard to find.
I might have found someone but it is a little too early.
Found a designer who will fit the needs for the minimal work I need to get done. Again, it is too early since I haven’t seen output based on my needs and that it at least two weeks away.
The current holdup is the product design, not the live product itself. I need it to be designed to put it up on the website.
One at a time.
